A rougher, blunter version of desu used by tough or laid-back characters.
"shut up"
A rough contraction of urusai, usually shouted mid-argument.
"you (rude)"
An aggressive way to address someone, common right before a confrontation.
"hey, c'mon"
A rough shout used when charging in or provoking someone.
"damn it"
A rougher curse than kuso, often said after a loss or setback.

A sharp, threatening reaction to being insulted or challenged.

Villain and Hero Lines

"I won't forgive you"
Said right before a dramatic confrontation.
"revenge"
The classic motivator behind countless anime plots.
"did I get him?"
The infamous line that always means the enemy is still very much alive.

A classic line for a villain retreating after losing a round.
"that's as far as you go"
Said when a hero steps in to stop a villain's plan.

Casual Grammar Patterns

A contraction of ~te shimatta, adding a nuance of regret or surprise.

The everyday spoken contraction of the ongoing-action form.
